Directions to Thorp Perrow

These are from their groundsman so don't blame me if you get lost:

• Take A1 to Masham turn off
• At the Well/West Tanfield cross roads turn right
• Before you reach Thorp Perrow Arboretum you will reach Snape village - turn into the village and go through it
• At the edge of the village there will be some allotments on the right hand side and the road will bend round to the right
• There is a track off to the left (looks like a farm track) - head up there
• You will go through a couple of stone pillars and over a couple of cattle grids before you should reach the ground
