This years AGM is on Tuesday 28th October 2008 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Everyone welcome.

Golf Day: Friday 17 October

Shaun Sowray has organised a Golf Day on Friday 17th October 2008 at Flaxby Golf Course. for cricket club members, proceeds in aid of the club.
 
The day starts at 11am and costs £39 per person(cheques to be made payable to S.Sowray) and will include:

• drinks and bacon butty
  
• Round of Golf - teams and competitions
  
• Carvery meal (including sweet) in the evening
• Award presentations

I've just spoken with Joe Tuley and we've agreed that tomorrow's game should be CANCELLED as the pitch/ground is waterlogged and there is no prospect of it drying out to a fit state for pitch preparation, let alone play.
